GS grade 1 certification of cyber threat trust information sharing technology based on edge chain

  • 2023.10.16

SecureLink (CEO Junyong Ko) announced on the 16th that it has obtained GS 1st grade for Cyber Threat & Trust Intelligence (CTTI) technology and platform that applies edge chain, a layer-blockchain technology developed with its own patent registration technology.

Edgechain is a hierarchical blockchain technology developed by Securelink's own technology that makes it easy to process large amounts of data while maintaining the security strengths of blockchain. In particular, this CTTI platform can safely share not only threat information acquired and generated by companies, but also trust information generated in the operation of internal information systems with integrity guaranteed to establish an infrastructure to share threats and trust information inside and between companies.

According to a SecureLink official, CTTI, an edge chain, can share CTI information based on STIX and TAXII, domestic and foreign cyber threat information standard protocols, and can be operated in compatibility with more than six cyber threat information sharing platforms operating at home and abroad, including KISA's C-TAS, Korea's leading CTI platform.

In addition, if edge chain technology is used, it can be applied as an effective technical measure such as information asset access control policies (RBAC, ABAC) and asset-specific authentication, which are key elements of the implementation of zero trusts that are being actively standardized around the world and in Korea.

Securelink plans to build and expand a safe information exchange platform between companies by applying edge chain technology to its integrated endpoint security product line.

Junyong Ko, CEO of SecureLink, said, "We are now pushing for the next-generation strategy to build a true 'Corporate Digital Immunization System v2.0' that defines, learns, and responds to threats on its own," adding, "To this end, we have secured core blockchain technologies that are essential for digital immunity along with our integrated endpoint security technology already being supplied, next-generation AI technology of government R&D collaboration, and we will accelerate our advancement into domestic and overseas markets based on MOUs with domestic and foreign cybersecurity companies that have been being promoted since last year".
